Day by day

Seven days, start to live

Day 1 starts once you've agreed the quote and sent me the basics below. Here is what happens, and when I need things from you.

  1. Brief and basics

    I confirm the pages and layout with you in writing.

    From you: logo, wording or rough notes, photos, your domain name if you have one.

  2. Design direction

    I send colours, fonts and a layout sketch based on your brand.

    From you: a yes, or what to change.

  3. Homepage built

    You get a private link to see your homepage on a phone and a computer.

  4. Other pages built

    The rest of your pages go in, plus your contact form.

    From you: feedback on the homepage.

  5. Polish and revision 1

    I apply your first round of changes and test on phones, tablets and computers.

    From you: your first round of changes.

  6. Revision 2 and final checks

    I apply your second round and check every link, form and page title.

    From you: final changes, and your OK to go live.

  7. Live

    Your site goes live on your domain. I hand over your logins and a short guide.

I built Quandong Corner for a made-up Brisbane cafe to show my style: a menu, opening hours, gallery and message form that work well on a phone. It's a sample, not a real business and not one of my clients.

The price is fixed once we agree it. If you need more than 5 pages, I quote that in writing before I start.
